Community Support: At Comtech, we are committed to supporting the needs of our local communities. However, we do have very specific guidelines. The volume of requests we receive from worthy organizations far exceeds our resources, and we must make difficult decisions to ensure our giving is effective.
As a result, Comtech generally limits and directs its support to organizations that fill specific needs in our community that we feel strongly about. In order to ensure the health and success of future generations, Comtech has decided to focus our community support on Early Childhood Development and Primary Education.
Giving Guidelines: Our charitable contributions support 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organizations that support:
- Early Childhood Development (e.g. March of Dimes, YWCA)
- Education (e.g. The Foundation for Oklahoma City Public Schools)
Our charitable contributions do not support:
- Religious or political organizations
- Multi-year commitments or capital, building or endowment campaigns
- Sponsorships for individuals
- Organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex or national origin
How we give:
- Organizations are selected and solicited by Comtech
- Support is planned and allocated annually through our community relations programs
- Due to the volume of proposals we are unable to support unsolicited requests
- Unsolicited requests received will be reviewed for information purposes only
- Comtech will only respond to requests if there is interest
Industry Support: Comtech holds memberships in several communications industry professional organizations. We sometimes support these groups through sponsorships of meetings or other events. Comtech only supports professional organizations where we hold a membership.
